The Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills Fire Department is proud to announce the promotion of Lieutenant Steven Coombs.
Steve is a proud Barnstable High School graduate whose career began in 2009 with the West Barnstable Fire Department. He would go on to later serve full-time with the Wellfleet Fire Department from 2012-2013 before joining C.O.MM Fire Department later that year; where he also serves as the President of the C.O.MM Firefighters Association.
Steve’s roots on Cape Cod run deep. His family traces back to the Mayflower landing in 1620, and his grandfather, Herbert Coombs, served as a former Deputy Chief of C.O.MM Fire many years ago. Carrying on that legacy, Steve serves with pride and dedication, and is a devoted husband to his wife Jill, and a loving father to their two children.
